Nina Lois Bunting Palmer Nina Lois Bunting Palmer, a longtime resident of both Galveston County and Austin, Texas died October 4, 2005, in Austin. Born in Houston on June 27, 1919, to James Thomas Bunting and Nina Cecilia Milam Bunting, she graduated from Houston schools in 1937 and received a B.A. in Education from the University of Houston in 1941. Nina was married to Cecil J. Palmer from November 19, 1942 until his death in February 1997. She was also preceded in death by her parents and brothers James T. Bunting, Jr., Ira Lawton Bunting, and Milam Neal Bunting. Mrs. Palmer is survived by her son, William T. Palmer and wife Marilynn, grandson James T. Palmer and granddaughter Elizabeth A. Palmer, all of Austin, Texas and by her nephew, John Allen Bunting and wife Robin and daughter, Paddee, of Waller. Interment and graveside service will be held at 3:00 p.m., October 22, 2005, at the Field Store Cemetery, near the intersection of F.M. 1488 and F.M. 362 North, between Hempstead and Magnolia,Texas.
