Funeral services for Nancy Elizabeth Weisinger Hall, 95, of Conroe, Texas will be held Thursday, January 11, 2007, at 12:30 PM in Cashner Colonial Chapel, Conroe, Texas. Internment will follow in Garden Park Cemetery with Cashner Funeral Home in charge of arrangements. Visitation is scheduled for Wednesday, January 10, 2007 from 5 to 9 p.m. in the funeral home.

Nancy Beth was born November 11, 1911 in the Weisinger family home at Ryals, Texas, now the site of April Sound on Lake Conroe. She passed away Saturday, January 6, 2007, in Houston, Texas. She was a lifelong member of the First United Methodist Church of Conroe, and a member of the Montgomery Order of the Eastern Star # 228. She graduated from Conroe High School as Valedictorian and attended Rice University on academic scholarships, graduating with a Master’s Degree in Mathematics and Education in 1936. She taught higher math in Junior High and High School in Conroe for over 35 years, always with a touch of humor and grace that her thousands of former students will always remember. She taught Sunday School for over 40 years, with her primary efforts in the Fidelis Class at First United Methodist Church, Conroe.

Nancy was preceded in death by her husband of 54 years, Luther Hall, also a long time educator, as well as rancher and investor, and her daughter, Mary Elizabeth Hall Perkins of the Woodlands, also a High School teacher of English and Journalism.

Survivors include son, John Henry Hall of Houston, grandchildren Lauren Elizabeth Hall and Sarah Ann Hall, Taylor Banks Perkins, and Zachary Hall Perkins, Sister in Law Sue Hall of Wharton, and numerous nieces and nephews, including Joe Hall, David Hall, Glenn Hall, Keith Hall, William Paxton Hall, Cherrill Kipple, Jerry Patterson, Yvonne Alford, Barbara Jean Zapalac, John Earl Weisinger and wife Sue, Gertie Spencer and husband James, Winifred Ann Spencer, Bill Weisinger and wife Winifred, Nancy Ann Guinn, Pete Sumners and wife Opal. Numerous great nieces, nephews, and special neighbors and friends also survive.

Pallbearers: Jim Ullrich, John Earl Weisinger, Zachary Hall Perkins, Hank Hall, Joseph Hall, and Judge Alan Sadler. Honorary Pallbearers: Pete Sumners, Homer Wilson, Bill Weisinger, and Phillip Alford.

Following internment, a luncheon will be held for those wishing to attend at Burkeshire Plantation, 915 N. Frazier, Conroe.
