Shared note
The Giddings City Cemetery is a city operated cemetery in Lee County, Texas. Among the approximately 4,500 graves is the grave of the notorious Texas gunman, Bill Longley, who after being hung for a murder in the county, was buried in what was then, out side the cemetery. Over the years the cemetery has expanded and the grave is no longer outside the cemetery. Being a small town cemetery, there is no cemetery sign, everyone just knows where the cemetery is located. |
