San Antonio Express, 20 November 1911.

Lester and Reese were members of a hunting party that brought back one of the biggest deer seen in West Texas. It weighed 169 (possibly 189 - print is unclear) dressed and estimated at 200 pounds undressed. The antlers, 10 points, were to be presented to the Elk Lodge of San Angelo. In the hunting party were Lester and Reese Ogg, E. N. Daniel, Will Vining, R. C. Ledford and Orland Sims.

Shared note

He was a Sergeant-Major in a battalion in aviation, stationed at Camp Kelley, San Antonio, Texas.

Shared note

In the 1920 New York, New York census Lester Ogg is shown as being a prison inmate. The birth year is several years out, and he shows his mother as being born in Washington (Washington County, Texas?) but he is shown as an accountant. May not be the same Lester.

Shared note

In 1921 he applied for a passport in Houston, Texas, indicating he planned to travel to Mexico to do accountancy work.
