From http://www.reocities.com/heartland/meadows/1115/Nicholas2/danboone.html Daniel's brother William married Clarissa Wallingford. Clarissa was Mary Chloe's neice. Daniel and William were sons of Jacob Boone. They were cousins of the famous explorer, Daniel Boone. Daniel and Mary remained in Kentucky for some time. Their daughter Mary married in Mason County in January 1829. Their daughter Indiana married in October 1829 in Pike County, Missouri. It would seem then, that the family left Kentucky or Ohio in 1829. |
