Shared note

Lydia Roberts was born 31 July 1743.(728) Lydia died after 1801.(729) She married John Knight, by 1764. She was called Lydia Knight in her father's 1771 will.(730) Their youngest child (recorded by Tate) was born in 1764.

John was born about 1742.(731) John was the son of Daniel Knight and Mehitable Libby. John died in July 1819, at 77 years of age.(732) Their family is recorded in the "diary" of Somersworth schoolmaster Joseph Tate. Four children are listed born between 1764 and 1772,(733) so they must have lived in Somersworth during that period. They later moved to Alfred, Maine, having a total of eight children in all.(734)
