Frances Smith Frances Helen Smith passed away on May 15, 2013. She was born in Houston, Texas on July 14, 1922. Frances grew up in Houston, graduating from Rice University where she met her future husband, Harold Vincent Smith. They were married February 12, 1944 in Akron, Ohio. She received a Master of Arts from Western Connecticut State College, and was a school teacher in Texas and Connecticut. After retiring, she became active in many genealogical societies and traveled widely. Frances is predeceased by her husband, Harold V. Smith, and son, Richard V. Smith. She is survived by her sons Steve Smith of Gunnison (Jennifer Smith), Greg Smith (Greg Scheske) of Jefferson City, MO, granddaughters Carley Smith and Ceara Smith, and great grandson, Caleb Zuehlke.
