Emmie Wallingford, 83, of Plantersville, died Sunday, June 6, 2010 at Navasota Nursing and Rehab. Services are set for 10 a.m. Wednesday, June 9, at Nobles Funeral Chapel. Arrangements are in the care of Nobles Funeral Chapel. Published in The Bryan-College Station Eagle on June 8, 2010 Mrs. Emma "Emmie" Lee Wallingford, 83, of Plantersville, passed away Sunday, June 6 at the Navasota Nursing & Rehab Facility. The family will receive visitors from 5:00-7:00 pm Tuesday, June 8, and funeral services are set for 10:00am Wednesday, both at Nobles Funeral Chapel with the Rev. Henry Sanders officiating. Interment will follow in Field Store Cemetery. Mrs. Wallingford was born March 19, 1927 in Waller County to Tom and Norma (King) Means. She was preceded in death by her parents. Survivors include her husband, William Wallingford of Plantersville; son & daughter-in-law, William & Sandra Wallingford of Crosby; sister, Velma Allen of Franklin; and 1 grandchild.
