Dec 29, 1960 Adolph Vanhowten Mr. Adolph Vanhowten, 42, of Route 2, Trinity, died at his residence Tuesday, Dec. 29. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec 23, at the Fields Store Church near Waller, with the Rev. J. P. Jones of the First Baptist Church of Waller, officiating. Interment was in the fields Store Cemetery, and pallbearers wre Virgil Reynolds, Hubert Robinson, Orval Hones, Jimmie Goodney, Buck Anderson and charlie B. Clepper. Mr. Vanhowten was born on July 21, 1918, in Yarber, Texas. He was a veteran of World War II. Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Eva Mae Vanhowten of Trinity; a son, Vance, of Trinity, father, Rube Vanhowten of Cypress; two brothers, Othal of Cypress and George of Liberty; five sisters, Mrs. Mamie Carraway of Montgomery, Mrs. Marie Armer and Mrs. Ruby Allgood of Richmond, Mrs. Caludine Sparks and Mrs. Merline Lands of Houston. Callaway Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements. |
