Wallingford/Jarlov Family Trees

"Bud" was referred to in a number of letters between T.G. and his his brother Lewis Bean Wallingford, generally in the context of Bud and his wife asking how T.G. is doing in Texas.

Eliza Wallingford Jones wrote to her uncle T.G. Wallingford in 1885, saying in part:

Josh Debelle & Nancy his Mother is fussing over what Unkle Jerry left - She has gon to live with Cath Points - Josh has moved up to Jerries house Haret sold out to him Jerry did not leave Cath Points aney thing that maid Aunt Nan mad She is a very unnatekerel mother they most always wannt ther children to have all they can get I havent seen Bud or wife since you left they sent me word to come to see them they live in Josh house

As for the children of William Francis and Judith Truitt Wallingford, I have the following:

William and Judith were married in Mason Co, KY on 23 Sep 1852. The 1860 census for Dist 2, Mason Co, KY shows 4 children in the household: Eliza J., age 6; Mary F., age 4; Elizabeth, age 2; and Amanda, age 1.

In 1870 the family was living in Mt Carmel, Fleming Co, KY and included the following children:

Eliza age 16
Mary, age 14
Elizabeth, age 12
Amanda, age 10
Jas E., age 9
Ella, age 7,
George, age 4,
Nancy, age 2.

In 1880, they were still living in Mt Carmel. The older children had begun to move out of the house, but they were still a large household with 6 children:

Mary F., age 24
James E., age 19
Ella, age 19
George W., age 14
Nancy M., age 12
Henry F., age 9

William Francis died 20 Nov 1883, according to the dates on his tombstone in Mt Carmel Cemetery. Judith lived until 1914 and her death certificate is viewable on Ancestry.com. It's under Juliet
Wallingford. The informant is listed as "Son". In 1900, Judith was the head of a large household consisting of her daughter, Elizabeth; her son Henry F., his wife Carrie and four grandchildren, none of which included an Edgar.

James E.'s middle name might have been Edgar. I don't have any other information on him.
