Obituary: Howard A. "Runt" Hafer Published: The Courier of Montgomery County, TX-Updated: 01.29.10 Howard A. "Runt" Hafer was born on September 8, 1919 in Goose Creek, Texas and passed away at his home in Montgomery, Texas on January 27, 2010 at age 90. He is survived by his wife; Linda Cline, two sisters, Bertha Thomas of Montgomery, Texas and Helen Seymour of Sealy, Texas; plus numerous nieces, nephews, grandchildren, great grandchildren, and a host of friends. All arrangements entrusted into the care of Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home of Montgomery, Texas. Pastor Randy Weaver will officiate services at the Lone Star Cowboy Church in Montgomery on Monday, February 1st at 1 P.M. Interment to follow at the Fields Store Cemetery in Fields Store, Texas. Family will receive friends on Sunday, January 31, 2010 at Sam Houston Memorial Funeral Home from 4-6 P.M. |
