From Arthur Moore, Jr., January 2010: Lillian married William D. Lawther. The Lawthers moved to Hempstead and built a nice home which still stands on 9th Street, one block south and one block west of the Moore home. During World War I, the Lawthers and their children, Juanita, Autry and Weldon, moved to Houston where Lillian became ill and died in 1922 at the age of 38. |
