Arthur Moore, Jr. says "I do recall visiting Lee Day with my family at the nursing home or maybe an assisted living facility. I don't recall the location other than it was in Houston. It was pretty nice and he seemed in too good a shape to be in a nursing home. His wife was also in the facility with him, and it may have been her health that caused them to go to the facility. My visit may have been some years prior to your visit [referring to possible Nick Wallingford visit in about 1965] as I think I had not yet left home. I don't know how long he was in the nursing home or facility." |
