Funeral services for Hattie Mae Heflin Thompson, 96, were held at Plantersville Baptist Church on April 1. Rev. Michael Williams officiated, and interment was in Plantersville Cemetery. A visitation was held at Nobles Funeral Chapel on Wednesday from 11 a.m. until 4 p.m. and from 6 p.m. until the service.nServices were under the direction of Nobles Funeral Chapel. She was a devoted wife and mother and a long-time active member of Plantersville Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her parents, by her spouse, Charlie Thompson, by a son, Lester "Buddy" Thompson, by a son-in-law Marvin "Shorty" Kersh, by a great-grandson, Woody Davis, by four brothers, George, Tom, Mickle and Leroy Heflin and two sisters, Mattie Heflin and Susie Heflin Wallingford. She is survived by a daughter Vivian Thompson Kersh of Woodlake; by a daughter and son-in-law Dorothy Thompson Tullos and Dave Tullos of Plantersville; by a daughter-in-law Emma Thompson of Danbury, by eight grandchildren and 23 great-grandchilden. Pallbearers were Jimmy Kersh, Johnny Thompson, Wayne Thompson, David Tullos, Donny Tullos, Dale Tullos, Betty Ann Thompson and Patricia Kersh Davis |
