Shared note
|
The 1840 census of Lewis County, Kentucky, shows Lucy Bragg (Volney Bragg's mother) in a household with 1 female 60-70 years old, 1 female 70-80 years old and 1 male 20-30 years old. Lucy would have been 76 years old at the time. Volney would seem to be too old to be that male, and there is no further indication of who the other female might be. |
